Clinical Supervision and Consultancy

Supervision and consultation for professionals.

Clinical Supervision

We know the rewards and challenges that come with delivering the best care and support to children, young people and families we work with. Supervision is an important component to ensuring we have a safe space to develop and embed skills and reflect on our own resilience and emotional well-being to continue to provide the most optimum outcomes for those we care for.

As a highly experienced supervisor of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists and NHS, Education and Social Care professionals, I am able to offer clinical supervision, consultation and psychological advice, to individuals and to groups. I am registered as an Applied Psychology Practice Supervisor with the British Psychological Society.

The quality of the supervisory relationship has been shown to be one of the most important factors in the effectiveness of clinical supervision so the collaborative nature of this forms the core of supervision I provide. I can provide supervision at times of transition, as part of a training requirement or in the context of an ongoing supervisory relationship to reflect and enhance your own clinical skills and experience.

Consultation and Training

I have considerable experience of providing consultation, complex case discussion and bespoke training to professionals within the Health, Education and Social Care sectors, at both a local and national level. I draw upon an extensive knowledge base from which I develop and deliver training, focusing on the social, emotional, behavioural, mental health and well-being of children and young people.
